Global Dreams, Local Roots: Youth Partnership Sealed Between NBSC and LGU Manolo Fortich
Through its Community Extension and Services Division (CESD), Northern Bukidnon State College (NBSC) forged a promising partnership with the Local Government Unit (LGU) of Manolo Fortichโthrough the Local Youth Development Officeโto bring global experiences to young leaders. The significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) was signed on June 18, 2025, at the 3rd Floor, Student Welfare and Development Center, NBSC.
The partnership aims to provide transformative global training and development opportunities for young leaders in Manolo Fortich, reinforcing their potential to thrive on international platforms. This initiative reflects a shared commitment to empowering the youth through education, collaboration, and civic engagement.
The event was attended by prominent community leaders who share a unified vision of amplifying the voices of young people in todayโs global society. Hon. Rogelio N. โOur partnership with the Local Youth Development Office is grounded in a simple but powerful truth. Greatness comes from within. Like an egg that must crack open from the inside to bring forth new life, our program is designed to nurture the inner strength of our youth. Helping them break through limitations, just like our hymn, and realize their full potential.โ
Echoing this passion, Mr. Alejandro B. Arenal, Local Youth Development Officer, shared his aspirations for the future:
โTogether, let us ignite a movement of empowered, globally competitive youth leaders from Northern Bukidnonโready to create, connect, and contribute to a better world.โ, he shared.
The occasion was made more special by the presence of key youth organizations. The Manolo Fortich Youth Federation’s President, Hon. Princess CJ B. Padin, represented the Federation, while the NBSC Central Student Government (CSG) was led by Hon. Dwight Ferdinand Navarro.
Dr. Jovelyn G. Delosa, Vice President for Academic Affairs, likewise expressed full support for the forthcoming initiatives aimed at empowering the youth.

Gomez, MSEST, Director of CESD and the International Affairs and External Linkages Office (IAELO); Ms. Maria Mikhaela Q. Jamora, MS, IAELO Coordinator; and Dr. Mary Koren Witting-Acuesa, Director of the Research, Development, and Innovation Divisionโalong with their committed teams who continue to fuel the institutionโs mission of community engagement and global empowerment.
